David served congregations in Tennessee, Kentucky, and South Carolina from 1975-1995.
David joined the staff at SCOC in March of 1996 as the full time pulpit minister.
Katy graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She loves ministry work and getting to know people.
Katy’s desire is to be encouraging to others and to help them continue in God’s work. She says one of her greatest decisions in life was to follow God’s path for her and not to miss any opportunity to share Jesus with others who don’t know him.
Katy joined the staff at SCOC in 1983 as the church administrator.
Ann has been married to her husband Chris for 30 years. They have two children: Chris (21) and Sophie (17). Her favorite thing to do is spend time with friends and family. She works with her husband in his landscaping business and is the youth secretary at SCOC. She also fills in for Katy when she’s not in the office.
Ann and her family moved to South Carolina after Hurricane Hugo. She is involved in Children’s Bible Hour, teaching 5k, nursery, college-aged, and youth.
Ann joined the staff at SCOC in 2014 as the youth administrator.
David was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and spent most of his youth in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where he grew up. He became a Christian at 13 years old and at 18, relocated to Annapolis, Maryland for college. There he met and married his wife, Sara. The two celebrated 19 years of marriage in 2018, and enjoy raising their four sweet daughters.
David is an environmental engineer and since 2013 has served at a local Christian engineering ministry, Water Mission, where he oversees staff and operations in Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru. David loves worship and praise music and has been leading singing since he was 5 years old in every congregation he’s attended.
David joined the staff at SCOC in 2014 as the worship leader.
